Auburn Botanic Garden photo shoot

We’ve been here a few times and even did a cosplay photo shoot in the past, but Chibi and I thought it might be nice to do another photo shoot here for no particular occasion. I took this opportunity to get some practice and shoot some lovely pics of Chibi with some fantastic backdrops of the Japanese garden.

The weather was fantastic, an overcast sky bringing out soft light and reducing the temperatures. It felt great and we didn’t have to worry about standing in the sun. We saw 2 different couples having their wedding photo shoot here on the same day so lucky for them too!

This last shot is an HDR. I thought it was the perfect place to shoot one due to the deep shadows in the trees and the bright highlights of the sky and pond reflection. Pretty happy with the result but some halo’s can be seen. I need to buy a shutter remote!
