Jervis Bay weekend getaway

Chibi was able to take some time off work so we decided to head to to Jervis Bay for a relaxing long weekend getaway. We were hoping for a weekend full of sleep, chill, beach, strolls and photos but turns out it wasn’t quite what he had hoped for. It was super windy every single day! So windy that we actually couldn’t sleep at night because the howling winds sounded like a hurricane was outside. The wind also broke down my beach tent which goes to show how crazy it was.

Unfortunately because it was so windy I wasn’t able to get many shots at the beach even though I took the camera with me. I had to put it away as the sand was just blowing everywhere! DSLR’s are mean’t to be tough but I just couldn’t afford to risk it.

Still I was able to take a few snaps.

I got so angry with the wind that I decided to become Super Saiyan! What?! It’s over 9000!!

Craters then appeared all over the beach. I may have gone a little overboard…

I didn’t want to mention this but I left my canon 70-300mm lens at the place we stayed at. I was 100% sure I left it there and yet the agent said nobody saw it. This goes to show how dishonest some people are in this world and they should be ashamed of themselves.

I still had a great time and was able to take my mind off work for a little bit.

Note to self: Check all camera equipment!
